SHPC

Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) is a public limited company which was established as a special purpose vehicle company in 2065 for the development and operation of 22 MW Mai hydropower project (MHP) and 7 MW Mai Cascade hydropower project (MCHP). MHP generates 22 MW by utilizes around 23 cusec water of Mai river and MCHP generates 7 MW by using water released from tailrace of MHP. Both the projects operated by SMHL is located in Mai municipality, Ilaam. SMHL was converted to public limited company from 2068-12-3 and the company is coded as SHPC in Nepal Stock Exchange. Commercial operation of MHP and MCHP was achieved in 14 Fagun 2071 and 29 Magh 2072 respectively. SMHL is considered as one of the best hydropower company of Nepal and has its investment in different hydropower projects being developed by Sanima Hydro group.
